Pacific Opera Studio Auditions 2026

Artistic Directors Peter-Coleman Wright AO and Cheryl Barker AO, invite aspiring professional opera singers to audition for the Pacific Opera Young Artists Program for 2026.

Open to singers aged between 20 and 30 years, the Young Artists program provides a year of professional mentoring, performance opportunities and personalized coaching by Australia’s most experienced and renowned international opera stars.

We are very excited to be continuing to offer a repetiteur position. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented repetiteur to join our program as a young artist. The repetiteur will receive coaching and support from world class artists and the opportunity to develop their skills by playing for concerts, rehearsals and major events.

The program supports each artist with a $5,000 scholarship. Entry is open to all voice types and is by audition only.

Please note that due to the intensive and personal nature of the program, all successful applicants need to be based in New South Wales.

If you are interstate or unable to audition in person but wish to submit a video, please contact us via generalmanager@pacificopera.com.au.
