A rare gem, Golden Vale will be opened to the public to host a National Trust and Pacific Opera collaboration. An afternoon picnic concert this event was a sell out success last year so come and spend an afternoon exploring the grounds of this wonderful property and enjoy Pacific Opera’s glorious young voices. Glorious Sounds at Golden Vale

After the success of last year's event, Pacific Opera and The National Trust (NSW) will unite once again in collaboration and continue their commitment to explore the possibilities that the combination of Pacific Opera's energetic operatic talent and National Trust properties can provide. The loggia at the end of the garden at Golden Vale provides the most perfect concert platform, the sun goes down behind the house, nature abounds and all's right with the world. Settle down on the lawn and enjoy a perfect afternoon of opera.

The LoggiaMakeshift Dressing Room

The 2010 program will include favourite arias and songs by Mozart, Offenbach, Bizet, Puccini, Lara, Gilbert & Sullivan, Jerome Kern Gershwin and emerging Australian composer Benjamin Loomes.

It will feature Pacific Opera's Telstra Wholesale Young Artists Regina Daniel, James Olds, Katie Connor, Tom Strong, Dora Armannsdottir and Benjamin Loomes.
