Yes, there's a first time for everything! We will present an inspirational English language semi-staged concert version from Canberra to Sydney in three venues over two months.

This engaging new version of The Magic Flute follows the librettist and entrepreneur Emanuel Schikaneder, who produced and starred in the first production, as he romps his way through the character of Papageno, telling the story as he goes. The Magic Flute will star Pacific Opera’s young stars as well as some wonderful guest artists in a semi staged concert perfomance, sung in English. The perfect opera for the whole family, The Magic Flute is THE opera to introduce children to with its fun and games and tuneful music.
