This is the first collaboration bewteen Pacific Opera and The National Trust (NSW), and the start of a wonderful world of possibilities that can combine National Trust properties and Pacific Opera's energetic operatic talent. The loggia at the end of the garden at Golden Vale provides the most perfect concert platform, the sun goes down behind the house, nature abounds and all's right with the world. Settle down on the lawn and enjoy a perfect afternoon of opera.

Pacific Opera and The National Trust (NSW) at Golden Vale

The National Trust of Australia (NSW) and Pacific Opera present an afternoon of opera at Golden Vale in the Southern Highlands

National Trust logo greenA rare gem, Golden Vale will be opened to the public for the first time to host Pacific Opera in a picnic concert. Come and explore the grounds of this wonderful property which is normally closed to the public. Be transported by Pacific Opera’s glorious young voices, with chorus, singing popular operatic melodies including arias and duets from The Pearl Fishers, Lakme, La boheme and excerpts from Bellini’s La sonnambula. Southern Highlands resident Mr Glenn Amer will accompany on piano. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover this hidden treasure in the Southern Highlands.

Relevant information:

  • Parking will be available for a gold coin donation with all proceeds goig to Exeter Rural Fire Brigade
  • This is an outdoot event. Please note that this event will proceed rain or shine and no refunds will be given
  • This is a strictly NO BYO alcohol event. Picnic food will be allowed. Wine and finger food will be available for purchase.
  • A silent auction and raffle with 'money can't buy' items.
  • VIP tickets are closest to the stage and include a free programme and allocated seating. VIP tickets are limited to 50.
  • All other tickets will be for space on the grassed area. There are NO seats provided. BYO low deck chair or rug. Please be considerate when setting up your seats so as not to affect other other patrons' sight lines.
  • Pre-purchase tickets only. No ticket sales will be available on the day.
  • Only 250 tickets for sale.
