Glorious Sounds at Golden Vale
In 2009 Golden Vale opened its doors for the first time to host Pacific Opera in concert. Guests enjoyed exploring the superb gardens and surrounding property and relaxed on the lawn for an opera concert. The beauty of the music and the setting were universally acclaimed. Pacific Opera will return in 2011 to fill the air with popular operatic melody and song, featuring arias, duets and ensembles from the classics with a few wonderful musical surprises thrown in! Southern Highlands resident Mr Glenn Amer will again present and accompany the artists. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover this hidden treasure.
The 2011 program will include favourite arias and songs by Mozart, Offenbach, Bizet, Puccini, Lara, Gilbert & Sullivan, Jerome Kern Gershwin and emerging Australian composer Benjamin Loomes.
It will feature Pacific Opera's Telstra Wholesale Young Artists Eva Kong, Sarah Ann Walker, Carli Maree Walker, Amanda Windred, Gaetano Bonfante, Michael Butchard and Paul Smith.

Relevant Information:
- Parking will be available for a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to local Fire Brigade.
- This is an outdoor event. Please note that this event will proceed rain or shine and no refunds will be given.
- This is a strictly NO BYO alcohol event. Picnic food will be allowed. Wine and finger food will be available for purchase.
- A silent auction and raffle with ‘money can’t buy’ items.
- VIP tickets are allocated seating closest to the stage and include a free event programme and free glass of wine. VIP tickets are limited to 100.
- All other tickets will be for space on the grassed area. There are NO seats provided. BYO low deck chair or rug. Please be considerate when setting up your seats so as not to affect other patrons' sight lines.

Silent Auction
Make a bid in our silent auction to raise money for the National Trust of Australia (NSW) and Pacific Opera. Some silent auction items you can bid for on the day include:
- “The Ultimate Hunter Valley Experience” – a two night mid week stay at the Award Winning Tower Lodge situated in the Tower Estate. Including a dinner for two at Roberts Restaurant along with a country cooked breakfast. Also a private wine tasting with the Tower Lodge winemaker and tour of the winery!
- Two tickets for Opera Australia’s 2011 Season
- A fully catered day on the stunning catamaran “The Countess” at Pittwater
