La sonnambula
We chose La sonnambula for our first season at Glen Street Theatre because it is so good for young voices, because it is truly beautiful, full of gorgeous melody and music, and because it hasn’t been done in Australia since 1965 and deserves to be heard.
New to opera?
Opera is the most popular, enduring, and expensive performing art in human history. And here you are! Well, be brave now… we’ll let you know if you need to bring tissues for a tragic story, or we’ll have you rolling in the aisles, or falling in love for the very first time. If Julia Roberts could do it in Pretty Woman so can you!
